[Doesn't speak, though: no time for that. K simply nods and comes for him again, surging forward to aim another blow at his jaw.

[Duck back. Dodge that. K's not very big, but he's fast. The blow justabout goes wide and he goes in under, jabbing an elbow center mass.]

the elbow catches, though he takes the blow and cushions it by stepping back along with it, wasting no time swinging at K's head from below instead, aiming for his jaw]

[gets his arm up to block so the blow hits his wrist instead and there's enough there to jar him, enough there to jangle his nerves and really piss him the fuck off so he's ducking back and then forward again and raking a foot down Sky's leg aiming for instep but if not just to unsettle, to hurt

[and he's angry but there's something pure about it. It feels right.]

[if he's in pain, he doesn't show it, just narrowing his eyes as he steps out of that after K's done, irritation spiking as he twists to the side and moves to ram the handle of his tonfa into his midsection]

[and that's the problem with center mas it's pretty hard to miss. It knocks K back, knocks the breath from him; he feels something inside him yield in a way it shouldn't and the breath that's torn out of him as he hits the deck hurts.

[He sets his teeth against it, cradling an arm against his ribs as he scrambles back to his feet, say do we have a 'B' Plan?

[The 'B' plan is to try and kick him in the fork.]

[K balance is off; the kick lands - of course - right where it shouldn't and the pain redoubles, budding and blooming as he lands heavily on his back. Must have bust a rib, hurts too much for anything else--

[(Got a knife in your coat.) No.

[Space. He rolls out the way in time to avoid any further attempts to kick him while he's down, pushing himself up again one-handed and backing up, aiming a kick at one arm. Can he at least get him to drop the bloody tonfa?]

[he can, but he's got two, letting one clatter to the ground and instantly just diving in for another attack with the remaining tonfa]

[K dives for it and that's leaving himself open enough to take the next blow on the back of the shoulder, but there was an attempt.]
