[She reaches up to smooth her hair a little, tucking a loose strand of hair behind one ear, and smiles.]

[ Her grip on Wednesday's hand gets a little tighter as she tugs her along. ]

I mean, if you really wanted to play dressup, you should let me put you in something a little less--

[ . . . ]

Pink.

You don't like pink?

[Well, it's not very cool, she supposes.]

It's my position color, so I suppose everything I wear has some pink in it. What would you want me to wear?

[ It's a princess color. ]

Black and red. Zrael clothes.

... do you really think I'd look good in that?

[Honestly, she's sort of flattered? Sabre's clothes always look so - well, cool.]

M-maybe I should try some on some time...

[ She can sense that positive emotion, and just seems pleased in response. ]

Only one way to find out.

I suppose we could do that next...? so long as there wasn't something else you'd rather be doing. But I definitely think we should eat first.

[ She shrugs ]

Other than food, I don't really care . . . if we can make points off it, that's just a bonus.

Well, there are things we could do to get points...

[How long does it take to get to burgers let's say they're there. It's magic.

[Wednesday pushes open the door to the diner and holds it open, this seems polite.]

I can't remember all of them. But there's one about going on thrill rides. Pampering... so that's a bit vague. I know there was one that was just about doing something one of us enjoyed, though, that shouldn't be too difficult to manage.

[ She's a rude girl with no manners who doesn't notice politeness, so she just saunters on into the diner. ]

If we both like burgers, I think even that is a free point.

. . . If I eat that red plant thing they put on it, that counts as a second point, too.

You can take it off if you like. I think if you just have a bite, it counts. It did when I was with Cobalt-san, earlier. We watched a movie.

[She takes a seat at the counter and hands Sabre a menu.]

So, um... do you know what you want?

[ Squints at the menu for a second . . . ]

What's a . . . "hot dog"?

Hm? Oh, it's a frankfurter sausage in a bun...? You can put relish on it if you like. They're pretty nice, but the burgers are better.

[ A what.

There's a flicker of frustration under the confusion, because -- well, she never seems to know what anything is around here -- but then it's pushed aside as she drops the menu, leaning onto the counter. ]

Okay, so three burgers then.

Actually, I'm not sure whey they have that name either...

[It's probably not very interesting.]

I was thinking of getting a coke as well. Would you like a drink too, Sabre-kun?

I never really drink any of this stuff . . . I'll just get whatever you're getting.

[ aka she's about to die, cat vs. soda ]

Okay, then, three burgers and two cokes...

[... and some fries, though Sabre probably won't want those? She picks up her phone, keys in the order.]

What kind of drinks do you like?

[ She has not lived a life where drink preferences is particularly a thing . . .

The kind of lost, confused feeling that filters through the bond probably betrays that. And, well -- Wednesday's seen quite a bit of what the Fright Zone was like. ]

Uh . . . water?

[ . . . ]

Tea is fine, I guess.

[She kind of wants to hug her. Please don't feel bad, Sabre-kun.]

Tea... Cobalt-san likes tea, too, so we've always got lots in the dorms. I'll have to pack up a whole lot for you when we get back, so you can take it home and try it all out.

[ Surprise! What are kind gestures out of nowhere? ]
