Mm! even though it's not the same as all of those other games it still kind of is, at least in a sense. Don't let anybody bully you into doing anything you're not comfortable with; physically or emotionally. [ a definite protectiveness, because he'll have no qualms with hurting people who try to take advantage of someone as sweet as wednesday. but as far as she goes, fondness. ]

I think stopping at five seems like a good idea, and even some of those are a little bit... out there. [ a chuckle to ease a touch of the tension. ]

They are, aren't they? I don't think I'm going to be getting a tattoo. Can you imagine it? An idol, with a tattoo? I'd be fired right away.

I don't really have anyone to confess to, either. Everyone I like already knows about it. But I'm sure we can find some things we can do together that don't mean we have to, to undress or anything.

Iiii don't think I'll be getting a tattoo either. [ nevermind that he's almost certain he'll fall apart during the 'procedure', so don't mind him feeling a touch keyed up at the thought. ] I doubt that. I'm sure you could find something cute to get, and who's going to fire you here? I'd make sure nobody so much as thinks about getting rid of the best idol.

[ he laughs. ] I... might be able to make a confession. [ scratches his cheek. ] I mean, you already know I like King and X, right, but I'm dating Sekhmet too. And [ a little embarrassment starts to rise up. ] I have a crush on Sabre too f- from even before Heart Games!

[Does she like boys, though...? Wednesday's not sure. Oh, dear, that could be complicated.]

I can see why you like her, though? She's... really cool. I keep thinking, there's no way I'm cool enough to be friends with someone like her... so, um. It's - I'm not surprised? Not really? Because it's her, I mean...

I didn't know about Sekhmet-san, though. You kept that quiet! Is that why she's been round so much, lately?

[ he tries to get that maelstrom under control. ] I think so too. We've had a lot of fun together. H- Hey, don't say that. I think you're plenty cool, Wednesday. And I love hanging out with you. [ and the embarrassment is back, as is the overwhelming fondness. ]

[ ducks his shoulders a bit. ] Yeah. After House she helped me pull myself back together, figuratively speaking. I don't know what I would have done without her, and while we had a few awkward setbacks because of the games I really think she's a good person.

Well, maybe you should try again? She knows us all a lot better these days, doesn't she?

[She takes his hand and squeezes it, hoping to reassure him. There's no need to be embarrassed! She thinks it's cute. Even if she is a little embarassed and - well, awkward, having just gushed about how great the exact same girl Yugi likes is.

I'm glad Sekhmet-san's been so good to you, though. I don't know her very well - is that silly? I spend so much time with Levi-kun, but I don't really know the rest of sensitIV very well at all. But I'd like to get to know her better, especially since she's so important to you.

[ and he gushed to sabre at the beginning to it can't be anymore embarrassing than that. he just never told anybody. not to mention it seemed kind of strange to do so after pep!pep! fell in love with her, since it might have looked like he was jumping onto the bandwagon or something, but he's liked her for a long while. ]

Not at all. I don't really know any of them well either, besides her and Leviathan.

[ the embarrassment manages to die down, since that wasn't really that bad, and at least she was understanding. he's sure some people would have poked fun. ]

So, uhm, what should we try next?

[She squeezes his hand again. It's okay, Yugi-kun!!]

Hmm... well, there's lots of things we could do. I don't think we have to do everything with different people this time, so it doesn't matter if it's something one of us already did...

[There's one particular item on the 'not so bad' list that makes her heart sort-of skip a beat, though...]

I wonder if doing the jumping-off thing would also count as confronting a fear?

Yeah. I just don't think we can repeat the same thing with the same person, but we could theoretically do everything together. N- Not that we need to! [ SO MUCH FLUSTER. ] But, ah, you know what I mean. It was an example!

[ he tilts his head. ]

Are you afraid of that sort of thing? Like... heights or maybe even the feeling of falling? Because, if so, then it probably could.

I... suppose I must be. Just thinking about it gives me butterflies.

Ten feet seems so high. Um - but there's nothing saying we couldn't do it into water, is there? That's - still pretty scary, but I wouldn't break my ankle or anything from a dive tower...

[ oh, he felt it, and he's never really given it serious thought, but her weariness about the idea is making him a little weary. oops! ]

It... It is kind of high. And, no, there's no specifics, so we might be able to find somewhere to dive into a pool or something! since... I'm not really interested in jumping off a building. [ and, yeah, breaking something. she'll feel a brief flare of fear, because if he gets hurt, then that means... puzzling apart, and he doesn't want to subject her to that right now, so he'll shove all that down. ]

I know the gym has a pool. I wonder if it has a high dive.

Hmm, I wonder... you'd think I'd know, I go there to dance so often. I just don't pay attention, do I?

The pools in Yomiuri Land might have one... I think they have a diving pool. I'm not sure how high the diving boards are, though. But we might be able to fix something up?

H- Hilariously enough I go there to do a few things and I haven't ever looked closely enough at the pools either. [ he'll join her in being embarrassed, but do his best to laugh it off. ]

Yeah?! Let's head there then. We can take my bike. And, ah!, maybe I can teach you to ride it, so it'll count for that too, if, of course, you're interested. But, sure, that sounds like a great idea. I'm sure there's plenty of stuff laying around, and we're creative enough to get the job done!

Ride a bike?

[Is this all right? Is she a bad enough dude to even be allowed to do something like this...?]

I suppose we'll need to head back anyway, so I can get my swimming things... I don't think I'm brave enough to do the, um, there's an objective... but I think I'd rather not.

[She blushes.

[Really, skinny-dipping? In public? On camera...?]

mHm! and no, not at all. It's fun! and... if you learn to ride this, then you can always get something of your own that's a little less, ah, ... "crazy". [ he pulls out his phone and starts scrolling through his recent searches, bringing up an assortment of vespas for her to look at. ] Here, take a look. [ holds it out for her. ]

[ as soon as she eludes to the skinny dipping he almost drops his phone, his cheeks flaring with color as he thinks about getting naked in front of her and her getting naked in front of- OH GOD. he looks away. ]

N- No, we don't have to do that. I... I don't think I, ah, no.

So we definitely need to go back and get our things.

[Yes, let's do that and forget I ever brought this up. Please.]

Will all that fit on a bike, if you're having to take me too? I suppose we could always put them all in a backpack.

I think we'll be fine. We can pack a backpack and chance into our suits at the dorms and just, like, throw on a shirt over them or something. [ going to start heading in the direction of the dorms and, yep, going to pretend she NEVER SAID THAT EVER. ]

[She's going to hurry through getting back and getting changed. Let's... put this behind us as fast as we can...

[She's going to be wearing the one piece, she thinks.]

Yugi-kun, are you ready...?

[She's got a backpack! Snacks have been packed!

[This is an entirely normal expedition and I have not made things weird at all!]

[ he hurries inside to get changed too and... he'll just go with a simple pair of swim trunks, since anything more complicated is just going to be more of a hassle, because re: wings. ]

I'm ready! [ he also made sure to pack a small pack for their little adventure with probably some similar stuff. he also comes out with a helmet for her and passes off the keys. ]

And time to learn how to ride a bike! [ as they head back down he'll explain everything. ]

[It's interesting!! also, a little scary. Don't bikes go really fast?]

Do you really think I could do that, Yugi-kun? Wouldn't I be too... to clumsy, or something?

[Actually getting to see the bike doesn't make her feel any less unsure of herself! It looks intimidating, like it's expecting someone cooler to be by its side and is disappointed that it's only Wednesday.]

I do, and I'll be here too spot you the entire way.

I think you'll do fine, Wednesday. [ and she'll feel a rush of confidence coming from yugi, because he believes in her ability to do so. ]

[It helps, actually.

[She might not have been able to quite nerve herself up to get on the bike if she'd been here by herself. She doesn't want to let Yugi down, though, and if he thinks she can do it - well, then she owes it to him to at least try, doesn't she? So - deep breath - she swings one leg over the saddle, and cautiously sits down.]

Okay...

[She rests her hands on the handlebars, and looks down.]

So, um... should I... start it?

[How does she do that?]

Yep. [ and he'll explain just what she needs to do that. as soon as the bike starts up he'll talk about accelerating and breaking and how she'll be steering the bike. also weight distribution on turns! ]

And there's no need to go too fast to start. Like I said, we can take it easy.

[It's - actually kind of fun?

[She's not sure she's very good at it, but maybe if it was a bit more... stable at lower speeds? it would be more straightforwardly exhilarating and slightly less immediately anxious-making.

[She nods, swinging herself back off the seat.]

I think I would like to try again later, if you don't mind. Maybe I should get a bike myself? Or - what are they, scooters?

Of course! and, yeah, I definitely think you should check out the Vespas. Not only are they cute, like, ah, l- like you, but they're much more stable and easier to learn. We can shop around after the game if you like.
